This past weekend we had a blast breaking in the new camper my mom and dad bought. We LOVE it, and joked all weekend that it will be hard to go back to tents now! haha! Part of me did miss our tent, and I am sure we'll still get lots of use out of it. We may try to go one more time before it gets too cold, but that will all be dependant upon weather, of course. Did I mention it rained all week long leading up to our trip? In the last year, we have gone camping twice...and both times, we got rained out. Now here we are in the midst of the WORST drought the state of Alabama has seen in YEARS, and there hasn't been any rain ALL SUMMER LONG, but the one time we plan a camping trip...it rains all week long, and the ground is soaked! It sure is a good thing we had the camper this time...I don't think I could have handled sleeping on muddy blankets, etc.
