THIS IS MY FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR! Yes, alot of shows are back on the air after a hiatus from the hoildays, but there is no show like American Idol! And the best part of American Idol is on right now, THE AUDITIONS! This year's season is sure to deliver and based on the first two episodes this week, THERE ARE MORE FREAKS IN THE WORLD THAN I EVER IMAGINED! My favorite from the first or the 2 shows is the girl who thought she was "different" enough to be on the show because she sang like the Cowardly Lion from the Wizard of Oz! At first I thought it was just a gimmick , but at the end of the show when they do the "compilation" video of lots of FREAKS singing the same song, SHE WAS ON THERE TRYING TO SING ANOTHER SONG LIKE THE LION! And my favorite FREAK from the 2nd audition show was Miss Darwin! Yes, the blond freak who needed to be wearing a bra with that gold silk "sexy" (as she called it) shirt because it was clear her "girls" were hanging down past her waist when they played the clip of her dancing! UGH! I'm gonna be sick!
Well, next week, Idol heads to Memphis...people in the South are always fun to laugh at! And when they head to my home town of Birmingham, I hope I know some of the freaks they caught on camera! CRACKS ME UP! I need a new Tivo because I'm never deleting these shows! I need more memory!
